I am very satisfied. The NAVTEQ map of the Brasilia has been updated. Now has new viaducts built in the last two years. The NAVTEQ map, in Brazil, is now more current than the Tele Atlas TOMTOM map. The Panorama View 3D navigation using is very good, would be better if the NAVIGON and NAVTEQ retract the viaducts in 3D to Brazil.
Really good app! There are still some features missing:
- Real-time traffic
- Speed traps
But a part from this the app is excellent! I love the interface!
Since 2.0 I have nothing to complain. Its very accurate, all maps are up to date for SP and surrounding areas. Like the interface and the map and panorama 3D view very much. I recommend this. All my friends have this one, too.
Wow... the price is a little steep for an app but it`s worth every cent. Could navigate in SP - with chaotic traffic and streets and no problem at all. Now I need to buy a kind of stand or support for the iphone in the car, cause i`ll be using it whenever I`m in Brazil.

Some bad moments
I would give this app a 5 stars if I was able to contact the support of Navigon to correct my problem, but I cant... Their site only has a set of question and answers, and my problem was not there. The app was working great, best brazil navigation app, until the last update. Now, whenever I change my route, it simply never recalculates, which for me makes the app close to useless. Also, now whenever I click to start to navigate it goes directly to the camera with POI around it, and I always have to hit the back button. Not at all handy when you are driving...
Since iOS6 it doesnt work anymore, always the same "cannot establish connection" error. Waste of money, i will try iGo.

Not good for Jõao Pessoa
I have been using the European and the North America versions and really like those. So I purchased the Brazil one too hoping it will match the other ones. It didnt becuase of slightly inaccurate map data especially outside bigger cities which can create a lot of confusion. I tested this mainly in Rio Grande do Sul. It worked fairly well in Porto Alegre. Outside POA it had problems. The map data is often by several meters off from the actual location. This caused very confusing directions and I ended up making my own decisions by comparing map data to where I was. Some streets and tiny villages are not mapped at all. E.g. I was in the Serra Gaucha driving through little villages and vineyards and many of the streets connecting those villages are not in there. This is in strong contrast to my experience in the Douro vineyards in Portugal where even the smallest of the streets were to my amazement correctly mapped. I suggested to add a feature to allow user to upload their actual routes and correct map data in exchange for credits. Some of the Navigon competitors do so already. Overall I would still stick with Navigon even for Brazil given the bad Brazil reviews of competitors and my overall good experience with Navigon in other regions. However, I think this should sell at a fraction of what it does today until the things mentioned above are sorted out.
